Each of the intra clubs nominate the person they consider has best represented their club throughout the year and our recognized on the evening.
From this elite group of sports people a junior and senior person is awarded the highest honour, the Sports Person of the Year.

SENIOR SOCIAL PLAYERS WANTED!
The Wombats is the Leagues Club’s Seniors Social Golf Club which provides social golf competition primarily for Club senior members 55 years of age and over.
Games are played on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a 7:00am tee off from March to October and 6.30am tee off from November to February. Game fees are reasonably priced and cover green fees, game day prizes bi-monthly BBQs and subsidise our annual presentation day function and end of year gala day.
On Tuesdays, games are played mainly at Woodville but once a month, they are played at Rosnay and once every few months at Georges River.
On Thursdays games are mainly played at Woodville though on occasions, games are played at other courses.
Pin prizes are up for grabs at each game and post game presentations are held back at the Club after each day’s play.
Bi-monthly BBQs are also held at the Club, immediately after the day’s round.
Financial members of the Club 55 years of age or over are invited to join the Wombats, no matter what your handicap may be or even if you are a novice.
The Wombats offer an opportunity to meet up with other senior Club members in a truly enjoyable, social environment.
